Enjoying the outdoors

I will start by saying that my TV problems have finally been solved by a giant Comcast technician originally from Kazakhstan who patiently listened and worked and tried new approaches to bring back all my previous services as well as the new apps.  Hallelujah!

Twinsday took place at cousin Diane's newly remodeled house, which now has a lovely big kitchen and dining room and is filled with light.  Her backyard is still a giant refuge for animals of all kinds, as well as the exotic chickens she keeps in a large coop to protect them from the occasional coyote.  You can get a sense of how big her property is in this shot of the twins playing under one of the big trees.  In Extra are a photo of Sarah comforting a temporarily shy Levi and Doug getting close up with the hens.  We were celebrating cousin Josh's birthday, for which Manda made a cake with wonderful icing (and I say this as one who doesn't usually care for icing.)
