More Rat Race

Today started well as I left the house full of calm at 0530 and nabbed my favourite parking space at Manningtree station. Having paid the parking and bought my ticket to London, I then discovered that my train was cancelled and all the following ones uncertain due to someone having jumped in front of a train at Marks Tey. I therefore had to make the quick decision not to risk waiting and being late…so back to the car, drive to Shenfield, another paid parking and train ticket and so to London on time!
