Half day closing...?

I kinda thought that ended with the 2nd world war, or at least when I was 7.

Had to get out for a bit today. Went for a drive to Hadleigh in sleepy Suffolk.

There is a wonderful old second hand bookshop that reminds me of Black Books - one of my fav comedy programmes.

Sadly, the whole of Hadleigh was closed for half day closing!

Bum.
