Garden Pond

... or it would be if you could see it! So today I got going with the secateurs, loppers, hedge cutters and anything else that came to hand to try and clear some of the shrubbery which despite its severe cut in the spring has shot up.

This is the result of my afternoon's labour. I can at least see some water now and my late Mum's heron can see the lone fish again. I may try to clear some more before the weather breaks later in the week, and must reattach the cascade pipe to the pump which came adrift in my workings!

And so passes another "lazy" Sunday
