Day 22, Santander and home

The last day was one of waiting for a late flight that left Bilboa at 10.30pm (or not as the case may be). We decided to head into Santander for a leisurely wander along the front. It's a cracking city full of beaches for those who can sit still and very picturesque. Three lighthouses as well which makes it even better. Amazingly the time went quite quickly despite the agitation caused from a mid afternoon message saying our flight was delayed and we enjoyed the wander on to the Península de la Magdalena to look at the view. 

The delay wasn't too bad in the end and we landed in Manchester just after midnight having thoroughly enjoyed our 3 weeks.

Now to catch up with the next 5 weeks!
