Jupiter Artland Followed By A Party
Jupiter Artland is a fascinating place to visit and enjoy outdoor art, galleries, exhibitions, events and courses.
Pat and I chauffeured our friend, Isolde to this country estate and covered most of the grounds and art installations.
The entry photo shows Isolde with one of the Lost Children to be found in the woods. There are five lost children sculptures.
The extras show the ceiling in one of the galleries which exhibiting an exhibition by an American artist, Andrew Sim and a very small taster of three of his paintings.
We were fortunate to avoid any rain and we managed to visit many of the art and sculptures to be found in the grounds and the waters of the estate.
According to my steps app we walked about 5 miles.
We then returned to Edinburgh to deliver Isolde to her daughter’s home. Annette has probably featured in this journal before.
Pat and I then visited the Scottish Arts Club to attend Colin’s 80th birthday party. There must have been at least 160 people in attendance enjoying the food, champagne and conversation..
Being the designated driver, I was completely sober and marvel at the conversation of the other guests as the champagne flowed.
It was a great party and I hope that Colin managed to resolve the Arabella graphic puzzle and wine that is our present.
We eventually made it back home late in the evening. An action packed eventful day.
The Scottish Arts Club is closed on a Sunday. However, ….
