A Hoi An Farmer

In the last hour of our motorbike rental, K wanted to take some pictures of the countryside so we went exploring. Came across this rice farmer who took us down this path to the tomb of a 17th century Japanese merchant who traded for years in Hoi An, went back to Japan and then tried to come back to find his Vietnamese lover. Interesting story and an even cooler cultural experience conversing with this guy whose his actions spoke louder than his words.
