Extreme lawn-mowing

No-mow May is all very well but we ended up with no-mow May, June, July, and half of August.
Partly that's because we were away in May and June. By the time we got back the grass was so long that we destroyed one old lawn-mower, and then our largest one stopped working (still waiting to solve that problem), and this one needed some adjustment. Eventually I got it going, then I got it going smoothly, then I bodged the side opening so it flung the grass out in a 3 metre spray. After that it got the job done! It'll need a couple more cuts to get it looking smooth and acceptable but it feels a job well done.
I slept very well!
