Tired Yet Artsy

Tried to take some artsy photos on my commute walk for World Photography Day today; did it work??

Today has been a full-blown disaster. Took me ages to get to sleep last night and then I was awakened at 01:50 by the upstairs smoke alarm chirping out a low battery warning. Following that was a series of farcical smoke alarm shenanigans that resulted in Rich and I not actually getting any further sleep at all..! Rich was supposed to go to his office today (and we were going to meet to go see Alien: Romulus afterwards; will we ever get to see this movie?!), but he ended up ordering new batteries, so at 7am I bade him farewell to head out for some meetings, leaving the alarm bleeping its distress behind me. A valiant effort at work was made, but after a fire alarm, my period kicking off (and subsequently kicking my ovaries, back, head and, weirdly, my left knee), my afternoon meeting getting cancelled, and spelling my own name wrong three times in the same email (Tsacey, Tscaey, and Stcaey...), I figured it was time to give up. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some z's to catch...!
