Minstrel

I took this photo this morning. Minstrel was very happy to see us last night when we returned from Leeds and whenever I sat down today he has wanted to be on my lap or beside me. I have spent more time than planned sitting down due to this!

The weekend wiped me out a bit so I needed a rest. I did do my little YouTube workout routine and some yoga, also a couple of little jobs in the house and sent out mail so the day has not been a complete write-off! 

Sitting with the cat and a book is not exactly productive but was the best thing for both Minstrel and I today I think!

Over the past few days it has been both Black Cat appreciation day and Minstrel's Gotcha day too...

There's an extra of another cat too - I am not sure if it is Jack from two doors down or another Bengal. There are a few around here - beautiful cats! He seems to have spotted something in the unused and derelict outdoor toilet - probably a giant spider!

I left the house later on to go to Morrison's to meet Brian and do the weekly shop. The sky was a mottled grey and there were a few dashes of rain as I walked - a distinct feel of autumn in the chill, breezy air. Summer can't be over already, can it?
