Rose, with a hint of sunflower (Day 3388)

Back to normality with a bump. I was at the bathroom re-fit shortly after 730 and got on with getting the wet wall stuck on. With that done, I started on sorting out the waste for the loo and basin, which meant spending an hour chopping through the existing cast iron soil pipe. Making the new connection to the waste took far too long to sort out, and left me with less time than I had wanted to make a start on fitting the vanity units. 
It is all beginning to come together now, but after 10 hours today the rest of it can wait until tomorrow.
My beautiful wife hasn't had a gentle return to work either and is off to do an overnight shift.
