So Close

A trip to Thornton Dale to watch Matthew (our middle son) play in the final of the local 100 ball cricket. He had put a lot of work into ensuring the day ran smoothly. They were playing Hovingham the reigning champions. Despite giving them a good target to aim for they fell short by only one ball!

This is Matthew shining the ball for the bowler. Glad I no longer have to get the red marks and grass stains out of his whites!
