Cat at the Window
My normal route to the swimming pool in the morning takes me past a small row of houses where I will often be greeted by some friendly cats. On this occasion there were none in the street but I did notice this little kitten, who had found itself around the blinds to watch the world go by.
After the swim it was a quiet day at home, planning a forthcoming driving trip to Scotland, trying to work out where to stay as we travel up to Glencoe, Skye and then across Wester Ross and Torridon, before returning via Edinburgh. Not a cheap holiday, I reckon I we could go abroad for less, but that is often the case these days. We've been promising ourselves this trip for some years and after chatting to Scottish friends, the route has been adapted to taken in the magnificent scenery in the northern highlands.
