Red Supermoon

Caused by North American wildfire smoke sitting in the atmosphere above the UK.

Having recently missed two opportunities to see the Northern Lights, if I wake in the night I take a quick look out the window, just in case. Last night/this morning I spotted the amazing red moon glowing away and grabbed a quick pic through the window so not as clear as I would like.

Difficult start to the morning with numerous phone calls trying to sort out various problems for Dad, followed by a visit and long chat with the Admiral Nurse who advised me to get extra support in place in order to protect my own health. This afternoon was spent doing things for myself. Miserable grey day and a very wet evening. Don’t know what the temperature was outside but I’ve been wearing a fleece indoors all day!
