Mono Monday

Unable to respond to this week's challenge I wandered round the garden looking for subjects that might look alright in monochrome. I eventually chose this staghorn sumac tree as its shape and leaf pattern do contrast well with the vegetation around. Even so I had to do some selective brighteing to make it stand out.
