The Bench

We’ve had a wonderful week here in Essex with ‘Matilda’ visiting some of Mr HB’s family and on our lovely campsite at Dairy House Farm this is where I’ve spent a few quiet hours sitting and reading my book or doing some  crochet.  In other spare moments I’ve been out walking the Farm trying to capture some wildlife …..  In a week I have this to report:
Wildlife seen this week:
1 Hare
2 Pheasants
3 Turtle Doves
2 Collared Doves
Wood Pigeons, several
Several Dragonflies and Damselflies
3 Meadow Brown Butterflies
0 Barn Owls
Wildlife heard:
Lots of hunting Barn Owls.
Lots of Wood Pigeons! And a few seagulls.
 
Quite disappointing on the Wildlife front but otherwise we’ve had a fabulous week.
