Windswept

A big saucepan of porridge cooked on the aga was soon devoured this morning.
The morning dog walk attracted several of the guests from the orchard campsite. Dippy enjoyed herding a flock of pheasants whilst the other dogs preferred a ball one of the children had brought along, he definitely prefers chasing/rounding up something with a heartbeat!
Pigs escaped yet again, I sense bacon aplenty in the very near future!!
The bride and groom for this weekends wedding came to discuss some final details and tidy the barn.
Pilates instructor gave me a super detailed “workout” and reminded me that most people who had been through what I had would be grateful to be walking.
Back home to find two tents in turmoil with broken poles and guy ropes flying in the gale force southerly winds.an hour later all was back in control and we were ready for chicken stew which had been brewing all day long.
A few more tasks including counting the pigs again and then time for bed.
