Enjoying the Sunshine

After after a frost we had a lovely sunny day with around 12c.

Coming house from doing some shopping I could see the Southern Alps covered in lots of fresh snow. I had no where to stop to get a photo of them, sadly. 

The insurance assessor phoned me today to tell me they hope to start the work on repairing the damage that was done by the flood soon in Akaroa. He wants me to be there in when they meet up to discuss the work that is going to be done. That should happen in a couple of weeks.

These Soleil D'ors looked lovely in the sunshine today.
