Beauty is all around us.

A beautiful Calendula.

The Feast Day of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux.

A quote from St. Bernard of Clairvaux:
"Ingratitude is the soul's enemy.
Ingratitude is a burning wind that dries up the source of love, the
dews of mercy, the streams of grace."

I photographed this beautiful Calendula yesterday because the mixed weather is not easy to take photographs in.

The temperature is 18.9c indoors.

There is rain and wind. It is blustery and cold and sunny.

This morning, and I'm not complaining, the weather that was forecast, turned to rain.

Hunter our ginger cat stayed outdoors, by his choice, sheltering under a hydrangea shrub. Then in his own time, he walked in again.

He has clear ideas and it would be hazardous to try and pick him up and run with him. He scratched his previous cat fosterer badly. Hunter had so much fear but he eventually seems to have overcome, but he does hide if strangers to him and his sister, visit Paul and me.

He has been OK with us so far. We are learning to discover how to heal past hurts and provide a safe, happy and healthy life for the dear brother and sister cat

I hope you have a good Tuesday blip friends.

Thank you for visiting my site.
