Going with the Flow in Blanes
A lovely sunrise walk, breakfast, some reading - see Bb in our usual reading area downstairs in the hotel.
We then walked along to wander through the Monday market. It was much bigger than we remembered and we didn’t buy anything but marvelled at the work involved at setting up and dismantling everything and at the range of things for sale - even beds!
We stopped for a light bite at lunchtime, upstairs on a little terrace, with a view - La Olivera. Old-fashioned marble tables cake place downstairs and I don’t think many holidaymakers know of the upstairs bit. It’s a hidden away place, which we also enjoyed last year. You can see Bb on the terrace here.
Walking back along the front, we enjoyed watching all the families and beach life and stopped at another place on the front for a while. See the acrobatic antics shot.
A short rest back in the hotel and then a biquini (toasted sandwich) at Veracruz in the evening.
Oh, and a little holiday purchase for me, a ring, at one of the craft stands on our own stretch of beach. It’ll probably be blipped at some point.
A lovely spontaneous day, just going with the Blanes flow.
