Garden of Surprises

Today we met some friends at Burghley House Garden of Surprises. Basically its a garden with all kinds of water features, some of which just jet out water when you are not expecting it. This is Elsie and Tobes dashing through the water fountains which kept stopping and starting at random moments. Tobes was really brave and just went through it- no hesitation. Eva had a little play on some smaller water fountains but she wasn't really all that fussed. There was also a wonderful sculpture park which we had a walk/run/roll around. The kids had an amazing time. All finished off with delicious ice cream. Exhausted by the time I got home and didn't make it down to the yard till 9pm by which time I was too knackered to ride so I just lunged him in the school. Eva was still up when I got home and Tobes had only just gone to bed so poor Mr EG was also a bit frazzled :0/
