Weinkeller Einhorn

This is one of the older restaurants / wine cellars in Esslingen. Tucked down a small, winding, street in the old town.

They have an amazing cellar space with vaulted ceilings where they serve ‘proper’ local food.

We found it in the pouring rain one time when we couldn’t get into a different restaurant and is always on the list to visit each year. Sadly, the service tonight was SO bad. And then all the lights went out. Quite an adventure!!
