Going … going …

Against all the odds the village fruit and veg shop has survived for years. Not one, but two national supermarkets share the same road. Sadly the shutters come down for the last time at the end of the month. We will miss it. And so will all those who wish to buy quality produce without shrink wraps and in quantities convenient to solo shoppers.
