Angle Shades moth

This Angle Shades moth was on the curtains as I opened them this morning. It must have come in last night when the doors were open. I carried it outside and it flew straight into the greenhouse and sat on the glass for a few hours. 
These moths are quite common and of a medium size and when they land on sticks or twigs, they give the impression of a dead leaf. 

Some nice new butterflies have emerged from last weeks pupae delivery. It was lovely in the Butterfly House this morning when I went to feed the fish. I'm sure you'll get to see at least one of them tomorrow :)
