We had a day of summer!!!!

We had a wee walk with Natasha, Iain and Kaiser in the morning, then waived them good bye.
The weather was gorgeous and Neil and I grabbed the blanket and set off with books and the intention to enjoy the summer when it is there.

We had an ice cream from Lagom first which was lovely but we intended to sample anotherone later.
We spent the afternoon in Kelvingrove Park lying in the sun.
Then set off to explore Finnieston for a coffee at Kelvingrove Cafe and another icecream.
Neil had googled the best ice cream there at Fat Sal's.
And it was absolutely amazing!
It was Equis Icecream - actually a brand that's over 100 years old and Scottish!
It was once of the best ice creams I had in a long time .... how could I have missed this?

We walked back home walking up Byres Road and stopped for a nice pasta at Santa Lucia.

Then walked back hom.
It was a fabulous day!!!

Sadly the summer did not stay .....
