Tithonia

… or Mexican sunflower. An annual grown from seed which I love to use to add late summer colour and to fill in gaps. It’s really late this year but welcome all the same.
I had a lovely morning weeding and moving plants on the far side enjoying the growth and the potential of recently planted borders.
Weather changed after lunch so I virtuously dealt with some admin and housework. Unfortunately had to cancel a proposed day of visits tomorrow because the weather forecast is grim.
