Lunch

A couple of meetings this morning, then I left to get the train to London for lunch. We went to Fortnuns at the Royal Exchange, which was very nice indeed (this is the view as you walk out). All in the name of work!

Couple of hours at the London office, which is being renovated so I had to work in the rather nice members business centre, then I left to get my hair cut.

So, after the trials of yesterday, it was a good day.  Added to which, I've had not one, but two sets of good HR news, and, yesterday's viral crisis today had social media posts a out how well it was handled - which made my day! 

The down side of today was poor travel advice from my hair dresser, which meant I missed my train, and the one I caught was delayed by 25 minutes.
