Motaz Araiza

Motaz Araiza in Dalymount Park, the home of Bohemians FC. Bohemians have been very supportive of the Palestinian people and hosted the Palestinian Womens football team in a match against Bohemian’s Women FC last May. Motaz came to tell the story of what has been happening in Gaza. He is very appreciative of the solidarity that people have shown throughout the world to the plight of the Palestinians. He told The Guardian he did not intend to become a war journalist and wished "people knew me for my art, I wanted to capture the beauty of my people". Sometimes life takes people in different directions and his photographic journal of the horror or what is taking place in Gaza has brought it to the attention of the world. He was interviewed by Jamie Lee O’Donnell and by Sally Hayden

Also tonight one of the men read out a list of the names of the journalists killed in Palestine.
