Creepy owl staring in at us

My daughter sat down for dinner at 6 pm, then screamed. This guy was staring in at her. It bugged me too, aren't owls nocturnal? In addition, I was awoken out of a dead sleep this morning by a screaming coyote, and later my cats were harassing a mouse in the basement. First mouse in 26 years I have ever seen in my house. Two clients no showed today, and I felt fed up. My daughter shared that mercury is in retrograde, so life's crappy events make more sense now.
