Hope

The apricot blossom is blooming and jam-packed with bumble bees. It fills me with hope for a 2025 crop as wonderful as last season's. Time will tell.

I caught the Obamas' speeches at the DNC today. Their message has never wavered and they still speak so eloquently, with such commitment and belief. I don't agree with quite everything they say, but I do admire their drive and their dedication. 

It is clear that Biden stepping aside for Harris was the very best thing he could have done. The sense of hope, even optimism, is palpable. 

With any luck hope will come to fruition, both in my orchard and in the USA.
