My topsy-turvy life

Busy bees

Summer holiday 2024 day 5

We went on a road trip to Liverpool today to visit the World Museum and, in particular, their immersive exhibition Bees: A Story of Survival, by Wolfgang Buttress. It really was good, aiming to highlight the plight of bees and the extreme reduction in their habitat -over 90% reduction in wildflower meadows since 1930. We then had a wander around some of the other sections, before a break for 'lunch' and Owen first deciding he wanted to see more and then that he'd had enough.

Back to the car and I took Owen and Louisa for a tour to see the new Bramley Moore Dock Stadium and the less new Goodison Park before the obligatory play in a playground, this time in Stanley Park. A quick visit to the club shop then back through the tunnel for home.
