Common Blue

We saw quite a few of these little butterflies on a walk near Lochinver today. It's a female common blue but the name doesn't do it justice - it was very beautiful and exhilarating to watch. A few of them were fluttering about, presumably encouraged by the sunshine. Yes, sunshine. Hurrah!
