Japanese andromeda
After an unseasonally warm day, a gym session and the therapy pool, I thought I'd get out. I can't go beyond the confines of the rehab facility, as that would be counted as an escape. But I could go into a small garden which has a couple of seating areas. It was tranquil, and fresh with spring blooms. There were clivea, azelea and a dome shaped prunus still in bud. It wants a real spring.
There was also this Japanese Andromeda, its skinny stems heavy with little white bells. I stood and stared and lost myself in them for just a short while. It was a treasure of a plant and a feeling.
Not that I'm going batty or anything. Home Sunday morning.
Thanks for hosting Bob.
