Blowing a gale but some sunshine this morning made it warmer. This tiny shield bug was sitting on an emerging Devil's Bit scabious flower...very sweet.

1st carpet quote in - £1650 for the whole house aside from the kitchen & bathroom - 100% wool carpet. No idea if that's what it costs these days or if that's expensive. The quote includes carpet removal and disposal + underlay & fitting. More carpet looking tomorrow...
