Porsche at Goodwood

This year at Goodwood they were celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Porsche 911, and there was this great sculpture outside Goodwood House which featured 3 911's reaching for the skies. This photo also shows another icon Porsche, the 917 in Gulf colours made famous by Steve McQueen in the cult file Le Mans. This was one of the many other Porsches at the festival, but it is the first time that I have seen on in Gulf colours in the flesh and running too, so I just had to blip it. This particular car has won the 1971 Daytona 24 Hours race in America and also the Monza 1000km race too.
