WideWednesday...Treasure

As many small villages do, ours supports a local cricket team, and the cricket pitch and club house are a treasured part of the community. We walked past it today and around part of the lake, earmarking the blackberries that are now ready for picking. A lovely cuppa in a favourite venue, good conversation and laughs,  and I felt better for the fresh air and excercise.  I gave the honour of picking the first apple from my tree to B who reports that it is a little on the sharp side, but full of flavour....good,  just as I like them!
