Friar’s Crag

After another delicious breakfast, we drove into Keswick and walked to Friar’s Crag. It was very busy in town and after a mosey around the shops we went to Mirehouse.

I hadn’t been there for a number of years and I had forgotten how lovely the gardens are.

We had a bite to eat at the Old Sawmill cafe and then came back to Ashness to do some photography around the bridge. The rain set in seriously at this point but our afternoon was seriously improved when we met two lovely Iraqi girls in the car park there. Lovely conversation with them both.
