A Temple of the Winds

A six mile walk today on Dartmoor. Beyond the Pork Hill car park on the Tavistock to Princetown road I only saw two other walkers. This is White Tor. The rocks here are dark and angular. Much different from most of the tors on Dartmoor where the granite is a lighter colour and more rounded. There was once an ancient fort here. If there was evev such a thing I often think this outcrop looks like a temple of the winds.
