Rainy Sundays and the Mountain Equipment Co-op

We all actually had really good nights’ sleep and so as Mrs. Ottawacker and Ottawacker Jr. went out for an early bike ride, which morphed into a bus ride, I managed to get some work done, do the laundry, strip the beds, and make several pots of coffee. Woo-hoo. Then the rain came. Heavy and steady. Following a trip to the Mountain Equipment Co-op to buy raincoats, it stopped.
 
In the evening, Ottawacker Jr. had a call-up game against Gloucester Hornets at the Business Park. Lost 3-2, but he played well enough. Second time on the full pitch against older boys with full-sized nets…
