A very pretty lion!

This morning I met up with some ex work colleagues in Bushy Park. We walked through the Woodland Gardens and then had coffee in the cafe by the entrance. One of them played for the Chelsea Ladies over 45 team recently( she is 47 but looks about 27 despite have 2 teenage children)  and they won the U.K. cup! She doesn’t really play football anymore as she plays hockey now, less physical she says. I didn’t realise she played for Chelsea ladies a long time ago before women’s football became so professional. Her brother played for Chelsea and her nephew does now too.

This afternoon we collected the grandchildren for an overnight stay as their parents are going to the theatre. We went to the playground and there I bumped into a friend with her grandchildren…we were at school together in Dorset many many years ago and both ended up living in Teddington about a mile apart!

The photo is of a piece of artwork done by grandson…he loves colouring pictures like this from a book he has, very intricate and he is very careful plus uses bright colours. He then pasted it onto cardboard and cut it out.
