THE WAITING ROOM
This wasn't the afternoon I'd had in mind. I set off for a few hours in Durham, wanting to see the installation in the Cathedral which I'd seen in Kath's blip a couple of days ago, but as I got out of town a tyre pressure warning light came on for one of my tyres for the second time in a week. Thinking "slow puncture" I turned round and came back to my go-to garage for most problems. He diagnosed a leaky valve collar and because he'd replaced a tyre pressure sensor on another tyre 363 days ago he replaced the valve and said it was under the warranty of the other part and charged me nothing at all. If I'd gone to the dealer with the fancy waiting room I'd have been charged a fortune.
Durham tomorrow if the rain clears up in time.
