Ightham Mote

Another hot, hot day! We were going to the Kent County Show but with the weather and queues decided to visit some NT places instead. First we had a gentle ride through country lanes to Old Soar Manor, a late 13th century knights dwelling, it was so peaceful and interesting to visit, had the place to ourselves! Then we went on to Ightham Mote, nearly 700 years of history in this beautiful moated manor house. Blip today is part of the garden which is beautiful and has a large lake which I would have loved to dabble my feet in, it was so warm! Had the most glorious stem ginger ice cream too! Lots of shots today difficult to choose.
