Goodbye to Val

Val left us earlier this year. She was a Songster and an artist and whilst her family had held several religious services after her death earlier this year, not all of her friends had been able to attend. Today was a celebration of her life and it took place in St Andrews Church. The Songsters had been invited to sing, so we had taken our places on the choir benches. We had been told not to wear black, so we had quite a lot of colour in evidence. It was a jolly event, with everyone sharing their memories of this lovely lady.
