Early start and breakfast and tram out to MediaCityUK. Wandered the area - Blue Peter garden; into Imperial War Museum North (on the right here) and into the Lowry. Coffee and then back into the city past Castlefield Viaduct. Art Gallery for lunch - great collections. Back to hotel via shops and Exchange Square. Train back to Peterborough. Smooth journey and sunny, A good trip.
