Dahlias

It was a cold and dreary day here in Cumbria.
I got on with some baking, then a quick trip to Sainsburys, and a walk up the drive for Bonnie. Exciting stuff!
These dahlias are a success story, I left the tubers in the ground over winter, and they have come up bigger and better! That’s great, as it’s always a problem trying to store them dry in winter. So long as we don’t get a fearsomely frosty winter, I think it’s the way to go.
