Dodged one

On the way out heading west on the No. 1 this morning, I saw that the east bound lanes were closed, and a few minutes later, I found out why.
A horrendous accident.
On the way home, 4 or 5 hours later, I took the back/side roads until I had to cross over the highway to continue the roundabout route as the tail back was now stretching back many, many, miles. 
Makes you think, doesn't it.


Ah well...
