Patience

I’ve no idea what the odds are for completing a game of Clock Patience but I’m always amazed when I do. Didn’t have to worry about the odds today though!
Had to swing past the town hall to pick up some yellow sacks for the plastic recycling (which I then forgot all about & missed the collection) and, seeing as it was a nice morning, I then did a wee walking tour of the town centre. Some new shops have opened, some have shut or moved, a kebab takeaway is now a fried chicken takeaway (still empty), a large vacant store is being completely renovated and a big kids’ sandpit has appeared - apart from the cafés that was the busiest spot in town! Oh and, almost inevitably, there’s a new sushi bar and a vape shop is about to open.
Out to dinner with Peter later; visited Pöltnerhof and it was much better than our last visit - they had enough staff this time - but we sat indoors as it’s starting to get a bit chilly in the evenings. Autumn is on its way.
