Party Preparation

A pretty busy day for Little Man and myself. I finally got around to sorting out his drawers. He still had clothes in there that I'd brought over with us from England last year and are way too small for him now. They all went into a bag, along with a few of my clothes I don't wear anymore and we took them round to the second-hand shop this morning. My dad asked me to check if they had something for sale (they didn't) but I found a set of six ice lolly sets for €0.50 (£0.43; $0.56). I'm preparing for a little party for my almost 3 year old boy and I was thrilled about the fact i found this ice lolly set as I was going to get two sets whilst I was out today anyway. So I only needed to buy one extra set. When we got home I blended some apples and strawberries with yoghurt and popped them into the freezer to set. Little Man decided to try some strawberries and loved them. I'll be buying some more for him.

We had a quiet afternoon and then went to bed.
