The Settle Hills

I took up the offer from J for a run from Malham this morning. After this last week of writing documents, early starts, late finishes, I could have done with a lie in, but this was the best way to unwind - stimulating company, beautiful scenery, and busting a gut to keep up. We stopped for lunch in Gargrave on the way back and it was at least a little reassuring to find that he was a bit crooked too when getting out from the table!

For the record, we did the Settle Bridleway Loop and tacked on a smaller loop to take in Malham Cove. It came in at 12.5 miles of beautiful running.
