Curiosity - the most effective anecdote to worry
Followers will realise I am a keen walker. I enjoy the exercise and it’s good for mental health. I subscribe to a brilliant magazine called “Country Walking” which often has features on the wider benefits of being out in the countryside.
In the most recent edition, there was an article from someone who had successfully spotted a different species every day of the year in 2023. She writes:
"I discovered that curiosity was, for me, the most effective antidote to worry: a daily affirmation the world can always hold wild delight."
And, of course, blipfoto encourages us to look at the world (and each others' blips) with curiosity and appreciation.
